Our History
Family Outdoor Recreation had it’s start as the Haskell Pack Jr Longest Tail Feather Contest. Brothers Casey Fitzgerald and Justin Pack started the contest as a tribute to their dad Haskell that loved being outdoors. After a couple of years, they saw the need to expand from the contest and make more contact with anyone wanting to try these fun events.
Family Outdoor Recreation is recognized as a 501(C)(3) Nonprofit organization.
Our Mission
The mission of Family Outdoor Recreation is to provide the opportunity to both youth and adult beginners to experience outdoor adventures.

What makes us different.
We assist all age groups and the majority of the time will provide all equipment needed for the event. Therefore, individuals or families don't have a financial burden for activities they may not end up liking. However if they do like the event such as fishing, they can start slowly obtaining the needed equipment.
